Job Description:
As the Principal Product Manager of Strategic Mid-Market Growth,
you'll be part of a global team focused on disrupting the small
business mid-market. You will lead a portfolio mandate across
various premium offerings and capabilities, identifying
opportunities, building roadmaps, and influencing key internal and
external stakeholders. You'll work cross-functionally with Data
Scientists, Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Designers
to define and deliver strategic goals centered on
product-market-fit and solving complex problems for the small
business mid-market segment.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy by identifying, defining, validating, and
prioritizing mid-market platform opportunities across different
verticals.
- Engage and develop deep partnerships with external stakeholders
(e.g., Accountants) to inform and influence platform vision and
capabilities.
- Conduct in-depth research and testing to understand mid-market
customer problems and their top jobs-to-be-done across financials,
operations, and commercials.
- Develop and track key metrics to assess how well our
capabilities meet market needs, based on partner input and
competitive benchmarking.
- Validate key product plans for mid-market customers, ensuring
features meet technical and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and prioritize needs across different teams within
the Intuit Mid Market ecosystem.
- Collaborate across product teams such as Financial Management,
Payments, Bill Pay, Payroll, and Time to deliver seamless
enterprise solutions.
- Support marketing and sales teams in developing the value
proposition and benefits of our mid-market products.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external sales
partners to guide product strategy.
- Work with leaders from various departments to improve how we
build and sell to the enterprise market.
Compensation and Benefits
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong
pay-for-performance approach. The expected base pay varies by
location, e.g., New York $195,000 - $264,000, Colorado $169,000 -
$229,000, etc. This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity
rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our plans and programs.
Pay is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills,
experience, and work location. We also conduct regular pay equity
comparisons across ethnicity and gender categories.
Minimum Qualifications
- CPA (US or Canadian) designation or international equivalent
(e.g., CA, ACA, ACCA).
- 5+ years designing and delivering world-class products in a
Product Management role, preferably in SaaS financial management
software.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed
teams.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional GTM teams and
influencing leadership on strategic direction.
- Proven experience leading, building, and owning end-to-end
AI-powered products for consumer or enterprise markets.
- Experience planning and executing successful technical product
roadmaps.
- Ability to apply analytical thinking for
prioritization.
- Experience delivering customer-driven AI products that enhance
customer experience.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams to launch web
or mobile software products on time and within budget.
- Strong project management skills, capable of leading complex
projects simultaneously.
