Job Description Company Description Looking to hire compassionate and patient Direct Care Staff and/or Driver California Assisted Development LLC. Job title: Direct Care Staff and/or Driver Adult Behavioral Day Program Plus Transport Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Care Staff at CAD Adult Day Program in Menlo Park, CA, where you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care for adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. As a Direct Care Staff, you will assist participants with facilitating daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, socialization, providing transportation, ensuring safety, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment You will provide emotional support and encourage client independence, work as part of a team and fostering independence, enhancing the quality of life of participants through compassionate support and engaging interactions for the well-being of our participants. Drivers will drive transport van to and from the participants homes. Picking them up from their home bringing them to CAD Day program then dropping them back home in the afternoon. Highly recommended to work as a direct care staff and drive. Qualifications A passion for caring for adults with physical and/or mental disabilities, to provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and support participants with dignity and respect. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to handle unpredictability or emergencies with calmness and quick decision-making Experience in a caregiving or related role is an advantage. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or social services is a plus. A current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required ( you will NOT be required to use your vehicle for driver position ) Fingerprint Clearance ( A MUST ) CAD Adult Day Program is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates of all backgrounds, genders, races, ages, and abilities.
