Job Description:

UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking a HS Clinical Instructor or Assistant, Associate, or Full rank Professor in the HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence series. We are particularly interested in neurosurgeon candidates with academic research interests, either basic or translational in focus. This is a full-time UCSF Neurosurgery Position with clinical duties at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs (SFVA) hospital and UCSF Medical Center (Parnassus) campus. Responsibilities include clinical service, research, and teaching residents and medical students. Candidate must possess an MD, MD/PhD, or an equivalent degree. The minimum base salary range for this position is $134,500 - $405,900. This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan](https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. A reasonable estimate for this position is $81,500 - $246,000.
