Job Description:
PIVOT is a Bay Area sports and entertainment agency making a
name for itself in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. Our mission
is to create innovative business-to-business opportunities and to
unite brands and properties in lasting partnerships that channel
the emotional energy of sports into profitable and meaningful
consumer engagement. We are looking for a qualified and
self-motivated individual to join our Property Sales Team as an
Account Executive, Business Development.--The candidate will be a
leading member of PIVOT's Property Team, working with arenas, teams
and athletes to source, negotiate and secure sponsorship
agreements. This individual will be working closely with our
growing group of Tennis properties, including World TeamTennis,
USTA, Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf, and more. This person will have
experience closing six and seven figure partnerships and be
responsible for identifying new opportunities that drive
significant revenue for our clients. Responsibilities:* Drive new
business sponsorship sales for a growing list of PIVOT property
tennis clients, including World TeamTennis, USTA, Andre Agassi &
Steffi Graf, Professional Pickleball Assoc., and more* Leverage
existing tennis industry relationships to drive incremental revenue
opportunities on behalf of PIVOT clients* Cross-sell clients across
multiple PIVOT services - property, brand, hospitality, etc.* Work
with senior sales leaders on sales presentations to perspective
clients, including both in-person and phone calls* Develop
extensive pipeline of qualified interested brands on behalf of our
property tennis clients* Lead outbound sales efforts to effectively
create and cultivate opportunities for property clients*
Effectively manage ones own book of business, including prospecting
focus, time management and sales pipeline * Update greater property
team and executive staff on tennis industry trends, spenders, and
opportunities* Provide regular progress reports on business
development goals and new business outreach * Help lead ideation
and strategy sessions with the Property Sales and Brand
Representation teamsJob Performance Evaluation:* Consistently meets
and exceeds individual revenue goals on behalf of property clients*
Daily sales activity, including new prospective client outreach,
client meetings, proposals, etc.* Effectively communicates to
senior leadership on sales outreach activity and individual revenue
pipeline projections* Acts in best interest of company objectives
and works well with fellow team members and senior leadership* Uses
sound judgment in representing the company's values and objectives
inside and outside of the officeRequired Education and Experience:*
BA/BS in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or other related
disciplines* 1-3+ years of experience in sponsorship sales,
marketing and business development* Knowledge and understanding of
the sports sponsorship landscapePreferred Skills & Qualifications*
An appropriate level of drive and toughness to effectively manage
multiple demanding critical projects in a fast-paced, technical
environment, and rapidly evolving industry* Firm grasp of available
networking platforms within the sports management industry*
Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills*
Acute attention to detail, organization and efficiency* Experience
using MS Office, Salesforce and Google Suite
