Regional Sales Director - Public Sector, K12- West 85775 Sales 5/2/2017 Position Description: The K-12 Regional Director of Public Sector Sales will lead, motivate andmanage a regional team of high performing sales account executives. The idealcandidate will have sales leadership experience in the IT industry, as well asthe Public Sector space (specifically K-12); and the ability to articulate athorough understanding of the K-12 Education space. He/she will be responsiblefor developing and executing an aggressive customer acquisition campaign inthe education market, as well as retaining our current base of educationcustomers across a defined region of the US. The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate his/her ability to align newproduct and service offerings to the business and technology needs of theeducation market. He/she will also be responsible for expanding relationshipswithin customers and our large business partners. He/she will implement ourPublic strategy for selling Lenovo's portfolio of hardware, software andservices into the Public market. We are looking for an exceptional leader andcoach with strong sales operations skills and the ability to form and develophigh-level relationships with all levels of the Higher Educationorganizations. Must be seen as a leader in the industry to make an immediateimpact in the organization; strong rolodex of Customer and industry contactsis a must. LI-90210-US,LI-85001-US,*LI-22434-US Position Requirements: Strong knowledge and established relationships within education entities andchannel partners focused in Education space
--- 5+ year proven track record in Public Sector/Education (SLG, K-12, HigherEd) sales is required
--- 5-7 years of relevant Public Sector management of sales professionals isrequired
--- Must have the ability to quickly develop organization agility and leverageextended teams.
--- Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated teambuilding, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex salesengagements concurrently.
--- Must have extensive knowledge of Public Sector business practices includingrelevant contracts, procurement processes, and requirements necessary whenselling to this highly-regulated market.
--- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
--- Candidate must be located in the defined Region.
