Who You'll Work WithThe WW Enterprise Networking Sales Team goal is to have a broad impact on the Cisco sales organization to accelerate sales of SDA while enabling customers and partners to be successful. The team influences innovation, technology and enablement to assist Cisco as it continues to evolve as a market leader, preserve top-line margins and offer unique customer solutions with differentiated advantages over the competition.What You'll DoIn this role, you will be responsible for developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota. A successful Cisco Product Sales Specialist will plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, and close the business. This position is responsible for Enterprise accounts and 30-50% travel in the region required.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Build and execute a Enterprise Networking sales plan for the assigned accounts in regionIdentify new Enterprise Networking sales prospects, together with partner account teamsProven track record in managing and winning major opportunities, with the ability to work unsupervised; ability to interact as a value-added team member. Leverage and nurture Cisco Enterprise Networking partner base.Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition and be able to present to customers and prospects in a highly effective manner - both at IT management and executive level.Work with existing team and be able to leverage the full extent of Cisco resources to overcome competitive pressures and tactics.Who You AreKnowledge, Abilities & Skills Required:Minimum 5+ years sales experience selling networking solutions into enterprise, Public, SP & commercial accountsProven field sales experience; understanding of complex sales cycles with a unique ability to accelerate salesAbility to develop account plan and strategiesStrong ability to work in matrix organizations/teams and manage stakeholder relationships - to identify and establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship and ensure alignment for desired outcomesProven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and interface with a variety of organizationsTime management, organizational, and negotiation skillsUnderstanding of distribution & channels go to market modelWhy CiscoWe connect everything: people, processes, data, and things.
