We're looking for a Sales Strategy Analyst to join the Sales Ops team at Carta! Successful candidates will have a relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative strategies and deep analytical frameworks to capture market share and monetize Carta's products. Moreover, he or she will excel at developing recommendations that transcend the numbers with outstanding communication skills, high initiative, and strong leadership drive. Candidates should be able to generate hypotheses, independently analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations despite uncertainty and ambiguity. Responsibilities Work closely with sales leadership to develop and help drive Sales Strategy & Analytics Lead analysis of business performance to identify future roadblocks and present strategic recommendations to GTM leadership for decision making and investment Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and link strategy to operations by partnering with key business partners including Marketing, BizOps and Finance Identify untapped market potential, then develop and implement plans to capture it Support strategic initiatives developed by GTM leadership or strategy team Work closely with sales ops to analyze and identify opportunities for sales productivity improvement Qualifications 1-2+ years of prior work experience in sales strategy, corporate strategy, consulting, or other relevant analytics roles Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, perform deep analytics, derive business insights and develop solutions Experience with data tools such as Looker, Excel, SFDC Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex information to functional leaders and executives Understanding of software industry / SaaS sales and marketing models is a plus Experience in sales, marketing, or customer success is preferredHighly collaborative, team player who can work cross-functionally Bachelor degree preferably in an analytical discipline such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, etc.Carta is a Series E company and is backed by top-tier VCs like Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Meritech Capital, and more.
