This is a statewide recruitment. This position can be filled in the following locations: San Francisco, Sacramento, or Los Angeles.

Experience conducting analysis or research pertaining to regulatory business/financial and/or public policy matters.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Experience investigating complex cases involving fraud and/or consumer protection, or enforcing or applying California Public Utilities Codes, Commission General Orders and Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Experience in consistently meeting deadlines, coordinating complex and expansive workload, and executing around priorities.
Familiarity with practices or current issues relating to telecommunications, energy, or water companies under Commission regulation, or with consumer protection-related policies and programs.
Experience in project management, team leadership, and/or experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of others.
Experience in working with attorneys on litigation strategy, settlements, and/or dispute resolution/arbitration.
