Job Description:

My client is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join their team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have a passion for acoustics and a desire to learn and grow within the industry. As a Junior Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in the assessment and design of acoustic solutions for a variety of projects, including buildings, transportation infrastructure, and environmental noise.Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting site visits to assess noise levels and identify potential noise sources
• Conduct noise modeling and simulations using specialized software
• Assist in the design of acoustic solutions, such as sound barriers, acoustic treatments, and HVAC noise control
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for clients
• Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to discuss project progress and results
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to acousticsRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using acoustic modeling software (such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or EASE)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
