ABOUT THE COMPANY
Camden Center is a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment center that offers comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment for psychiatric and addictive disorders. Camden Center is a medical organization established and operated by physicians, and is founded on the principles of clinical excellence, compassionate care, and respect for our patients.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe medical logistics coordinator is responsible for providing clinical and technical support in the provision of general medical and psychiatric care to patients. This position reports directly to the Co-Medical Director and the Medical Logistics Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include:

Schedule outside medical orders and referralsCoordinate medication supply and refills with treatment center, case management, and residential teamsAssist with urine drug screening and lab ordersCollect medical and medication history for new patientsMaintain medication supply logsProvide support with charting, emailing, and data collectionObtain release of information from appropriate providers, individuals, and facilities to obtain medical records and other relevant informationUpdating and/or verifying patient insuranceProviding EKGs and procedure set up and support (IM injections), blood draws, and specimen collection and preparation, depending on clinical and provider needsMeet with patients for medication intake and discharge sessions and send documentation to relevant team membersTrain and set up new physicians on the electronic medical recordOversee medication delivery, pickup, and onsite distribution protocolsEnsure medication department supplies are fully stockedUse tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential informationPrioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality attention to detailDemonstrate high levels of professionalism when communicating in person, by email, or by phoneOther duties as assigned by the direct or indirect supervisorPROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Medical Assistant with AD in Applied Science preferredAAMA certification preferred, but will accept applicants with a current Medical Assistant CertificatePharmacy technician certification (or similar experience/accreditation)Knowledge of medications, medication orders, and nomenclatureAt least one-year medical office experience requiredKnowledge and ability to practice aseptic technique when assisting with proceduresAbility to triage medical/psychiatric problems within scope of job responsibilitiesAbility to take direction from physicians, managers, and providers, and work collaboratively with all levels of management, staff, patients, and vendorsInterpersonal skills to work with patients and staff of diverse educational, economic, and cultural backgroundsWorking knowledge of medical terminologyThorough understanding of HIPAAs regulations, requirements, and guidelinesAbility to work in a fast-paced setting with conflicting demandsProfessional and enthusiastic attitude and demeanor, with a belief in patient-centered careProficiency in Gmail, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Apple SoftwareSkill in establishing and maintaining complex filing systems, organizing work flow to meet deadlines, and setting priorities that accurately reflect the importance of job responsibilitiesSkill in exchanging ideas and opinions with others to increase efficiency of office proceduresAbility to independently perform and complete assignments with minimal direction and supervision -LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to legally work in the United States and provide documentation (2 forms of ID and/or Green Card) -Must be able to sit and stand at length (up to 8 hours) -Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds -Must be able to kneel, bend, and squat -40 hours/week. Pay range is $21.00/hour - $30.00/hour.
