Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement automation test frameworks including the coding of reusable components and functions


  • Integrate test frameworks with STAR's Continuous Integration (CI) workflow


  • Drive implementation and maintenance of test automation for cloud services and on-prem applications.


  • Defines the development methods, guidelines and standards to be used in test scripts and framework development


  • Defines transition steps and strategy from the current to the future test architecture


  • Manages a test architecture governance process


  • Develop, update and automate test cases and train others on standard methodologies for automated test case design


  • Document Test Framework details, test workflows


  • Participate in audits of process compliance & report preparation


  • Coach and mentor others on test automation and quality engineering methods and techniques


    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Computer science, management information systems or comparable technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


    • 7 or more years of experience building automated, keyword, data-driven test framework from scratch using Selenium, Jasmine, Junit, TestNG or equivalent


    • Experience in descriptive programming using Java, Python or equivalent


    • Experience Test automation Framework development


    • Hands-on experience developing automated tests for backend APIs (e.g. REST, RPC, SOAP) using RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI or a similar tool set


    • Deep understanding of source code management using Git, Subversion or equivalent


    • Be a true believer in agile development methodology, experience working with agile tools such as VersionOne, JIRA


    • Possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills


    • Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen


      Base Salary Range: Min: $134,900 - Mid: $175,100 - Max: $215,400 (Location: San Francisco)
      Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
