Responsibilities:
Develop and implement automation test frameworks including the
coding of reusable components and functions
Integrate test frameworks with STAR's Continuous Integration (CI)
workflow
Drive implementation and maintenance of test automation for cloud
services and on-prem applications.
Defines the development methods, guidelines and standards to be
used in test scripts and framework development
Defines transition steps and strategy from the current to the
future test architecture
Manages a test architecture governance process
Develop, update and automate test cases and train others on
standard methodologies for automated test case design
Document Test Framework details, test workflows
Participate in audits of process compliance & report
preparation
Coach and mentor others on test automation and quality engineering
methods and techniques
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with concentration in Computer science,
management information systems or comparable technical discipline,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
7 or more years of experience building automated, keyword,
data-driven test framework from scratch using Selenium, Jasmine,
Junit, TestNG or equivalent
Experience in descriptive programming using Java, Python or
equivalent
Experience Test automation Framework development
Hands-on experience developing automated tests for backend APIs
(e.g. REST, RPC, SOAP) using RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI or a
similar tool set
Deep understanding of source code management using Git, Subversion
or equivalent
Be a true believer in agile development methodology, experience
working with agile tools such as VersionOne, JIRA
Possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become
a U.S Citizen
Base Salary Range: Min: $134,900 - Mid: $175,100 - Max: $215,400
(Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's
background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with
market data.
