• ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST Communications Division, Broadband Deployment Branch:
  
  The California Public Utilities Commission's (CPUC) Communications Division manages the state's broadband grant programs, licenses and regulates providers, promotes digital equity, and analyzes the impact of the digital divide in the state. The Division is assembling a team to implement a $6 billion grant program to close California's Digital Divide. The program will provide funding to public and private entities to build last-mile broadband infrastructure for Californians without access to high-speed broadband service. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be submitted with your application. A SOQ is a narrative description of how your training, experience, and education qualifies you for the position. The SOQ must be 11-point Arial font, single-spaced, and no more than twopages. Writing that exceeds this page limit will not be scored. The SOQ should provide specific details and examples that clearly demonstrate your qualifications. SOQs will be evaluated based on the content and writing ability, using standardized rating criteria.   • Describe your experience conducting policy analysis and formulating policy for a government program or project.
  • Describe your experience working in a team setting.
  • Describe your experience conducting and presenting at meetings or workshops to the general public, other agencies and/or elected officials.
  • Describe your experience working independently on multiple projects, providing status reports on progress, and meeting internal and external deadlines.
