Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with a leading global infrastructure advisory firm in the search for a Mid/Senior Level Electrical Engineer with a Power Systems experience. This direct hire opportunity will help support driving initiatives in the port, water, and transportation industries as well as military installations. In addition to providing opportunities to collaborate on innovative, high profile projects around the world, our client offers 100% paid health insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401K matching, employee stock options, EAP, wellness programs, and so much more!!!Duties and responsibilities:Complete electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammatesProvide design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for the following but not limited to:Medium/low voltage power distribution systemsLighting systemsLightning protection systemsGrounding systemsCommunications systemsElectrical equipment design (including switchboards, switchgear, and substations)Electrical calculations, selective coordination, and arc flash studiesLead the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects with coordination of other project disciplinesWork with clients on developing scope of work, prepare proposals, attend design workshops, prepare and negotiate fees, manage projects and evaluate project financialsPrepare detailed contract documents, studies, andcost estimatesDevelop equipment specification, calculation, data sheets, drawings reviews and other documents related to the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls designPerform construction management activities such as submittal reviews and construction observations for electrical workAlone or with project staff, travel to site or meet with clients, subconsultants, utilities, and other parties to investigate site conditions and meet project requirementsAssist in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processesSuccessfully communicate and interact with internal and external clients and team membersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyProfessional Engineer licensure required. Licensure in California or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire7 to 15+ years of related experience in:Medium/low voltage power distribution systemsLighting systemsCommunications systemsElectrical equipment design with seismic considerations (including switchboards, switchgear, and substations)Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit,Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam RevuMicrogrid, PLC/DCS, cathodic protection design experience is preferredProficiency ETAP and/or EasyPower and AGI32 are preferredExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to complete complex technical assignments and prepare and analyze technical reportsWillingness and availability to travel, some overnight stays will be requiredPossess or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)Possess DBIDS card or eligibility to successfully pass background check to secure Department of Defense DBIDS card and other badges required by clientsU.S. citizenship is preferredAll new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171Must have PE license, 6-15 years of electrical design experienceCustomer-facing role#IproBachelor5-10 years
