Summary: The Test System Product Team is seeking a Principal System
Engineer who can lead a section of Electrical Engineer
professionals responsible for all elements of Electrical
Engineering Design through all lifecycles to include but not
limited to development, transition to production, design
verification, qualification, and Manufacturing Acceptance of final
product going to the customer. We value diverse skills and

Responsibilities to Anticipate: You will supervise and lead a team
of approximately 10 - 20 members. You will establish meaningful and
measurable goals and communicate effectively with your team to
ensure alignment with the department and directorate. You will
conduct formal and informal performance reviews and career
development discussions with team members. You will be expected to
lead by example while adhering to and ensuring alignment with our
Values and Behaviors. The Section Lead role is anticipated to be
approximately 15% of the work week, with the remainder of the work
week charged to program contracts, within the TSPT organization. As
a part of this role, you will collaborate with multi-discipline
teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
You will provide independent health checks by evaluating program's
metrics. You will interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers,
CPT/Directorate Leads, as well as other functional management to
drive results to achieve program and business unit objectives. You
will support System Integration and Test program hiring goals as
well as lead the onboarding of new section personnel. This role is
hybrid, but will require the ability to work on-site in Tucson, AZ
as needed. Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
(STEM)
- Eight (8) or more years of professional electrical engineering
design experience
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Experience in a "Customer" oriented environment.
- Active DoD issued Secret Clearance
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Experience presenting to leadership and peers. Qualifications

- Advanced degree in one of the aforementioned disciplines. ABET
accreditation preferred.
- Previous experience with career development and personal skills
development of team members
- Experience developing TE for production test environments
- Previous work experience developing artifacts as an electrical,
software, mechanical, systems or configurable logic.
- Experience working in Agile development process
- Experience working with Program configuration management
principles and tools such as IMS, PMX tools, or tracking books
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or
similar budget tracking system
- Experience with Proposal Capture Process (development of
compliant Basis of Estimates, and White Sheet Development)
- Experience with Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and
Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) systems.
- Knowledge of business and program improvements through process
