  What you'll do:
  
  • Be the founding SRE on the Engineering Experience team
  • Partner with Infra to form a strategy to transfer full ownership and coverage across Gitlab, Okteto, Tonic, and other core systems
  • Collaborate cross functionally within the team to deliver impactful projects to unblock and increase velocity across eng
    
    Who you are:
    
    • You ideally have experience with Gitlab or similar, Kubernetes, Terraform
    • You know what a good development system does (and does not) look like
    • You enjoy interacting with and helping our customers (fellow engineers!)
      
      Requirements:
      
      • 1+ year experience with Kubernetes
      • 5+ years experience with maintaining tooling in some or all of the following areas:
        • Local environment configuration (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
        • Remote development environments (Okteto or similar)
        • CI/CD (Gitlab, etc.)
        • Familiarity with some or all of the following frameworks:
          • Terraform
          • Helm
