Event Production Manager - Competitive Salary Benefits- San
Francisco, CAThe RoleAre you an experienced Event Production
Manager looking for a new, exciting challenge? If so, we have the
perfect opportunity for you!We're eager to find a smart, motivated,
no-nonsense production manager to add to our long-tenured team of
professionals. You will be responsible for producing and organizing
all event elements and logistics by working directly with clients
throughout the planning process to ensure expectations and needs
are met on all levels. -Key Responsibilities:The key
responsibilities of an Event Production Manager but are not limited
to:Production
- Main point of contact for clients for site visits, tastings,
overall coordination throughout planning process and day of event
presence
- Work with clients on budgeting, menu selections, room set up,
d--cor, entertainment, talent, etc.
- Collaborate with both Productions and Audio-Visual Teams for
ongoing coordination among all types of eventsAdministrative
- Attend weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and other
internal team meetings as necessary
- Ensure all BEO's are accurate and detailed with menu
selections, beverage packages, timelines, vendor needs, set up
information, internal notes and instructions as well as other
line-item costs
- Create floor plans with accurate lay out of event including all
details, requirements and needs
- Review and submit all event related invoicing in timely manner
-Vendor Management
- Ensure in house inventory can fulfil client's requests while
working with vendors on rentals to supplement needs
- Establish and maintain timelines day of event with all
contracted vendors
- Negotiate the best price for vendors - work closely with all
vendors to pull quotes, establish set-up/strike guidelines,
collaborate with Productions Team on other events occurring to
maximize quotes and deliveries
- Reconcile all orders upon delivery as well as post event,
handling missing/undelivered items and submitting invoices in
timely mannerStaffing
- Schedule appropriate number of team members for each event,
contracting with external staffing agencies as necessary
- Work closely with Event Manager on the day of event on overall
event expectations and execution, assist as necessary to direct the
FOH team, manage and maintain timelines, communicate with Culinary
Team on service timeline, interact with the client, etc.
- Ongoing training with Production and FOH teams related to
service, standards, dress code, food and beverage knowledge,

and qualities of an Event Production:
- Minimum of 2 years for Event Production Manager; 5 years for
Senior Event Production Manager comparable private event experience
in an event company, high end/luxury hotel, private club, etc.
- Must provide proof of full Covid 19 vaccination including
booster shot
- Versed in various types of event planning preferred -
corporate, nonprofit, weddings and social events
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbally
- Highly organised, and be thorough with great attention to
detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven self-starter capable of finding solutions with minimal
supervision
- Available to work a flexible schedule that will include days,
nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by the events calendar
and seasonal changes
- Computer proficiency in MS Office - word, excel, outlook
- Current Food Handlers Card as well as Responsible Beverage
