Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and testing of the electronic and control components of a brand new electric vehicle from cradle to grave.
Core responsibilities

• Design and bench test PCBAs
• Selection and analysis of electrical components
• Manage reviews of circuit design
• Analysis and debugging of integration testing
• Design control software for CPLDs/FPGAs
• Develop the control and interface circuitry for the EV
• Establish and create board requirements
  Requirements: You have 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer who has worked on electrical components at all stages of the production cycle.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Expert understanding of control circuitry and electrical schematics
  • Experience with CAN, WiFI, Bluetooth, I2C
  • Circuit simulation experience
  • Experience with schematic capture, Altium, or other PCB layout tools
  • Expert experience with microprocessors
  • Peripheral design experience
    Ideal candidate
    • M.S. in Electrical Engineering
    • Experience with PCBA standards in the automotive industry
    • Experience with electrical power systems
