Job Description Moody's Analytics provides financial intelligence
and analytical tools to help business leaders make better
decisions. Moody's Analytics CRE is focused on providing insights,
analytics, and data to Commercial Real Estate professionals. With
our focus on?supporting informed buying, selling, and other
financing or risk assessment decisions, we offer?nearly forty years
of?collected data?that spans?across sectors.?Developed
with?flexibility, scalability, and efficiency as top priorities,
our solution?supports teams across all aspects of the CRE
The Associate Director - DevOps Architect will manage different
facets of the DevOps & DataOps function within the global business.
He or she is responsible for optimizing and refining DevOps related
processes along with product data, maintaining subject matter
expertise in limited areas while exploring new areas, and driving
improvements within the group.
- Collaborate with development team to define architecture,
optimize performance, and right-size environments.
- Work closely with development teams to optimize workflow
- Deep knowledge of continuous integration and configuration
- Act as Data Subject Matter Expert, with a solid understanding
of the data and data processes that drive our products.
- Lead / consult on projects to build new data processes.
Recommend best practices. Evaluate and recommend enterprise
software or tools to build internally.
- Manage release and deployment cycles for product lines.
- Expertise in multiple technical environments and knowledge of
one or more business areas.
- Assist in defining DevOps along with quality guidelines and
- Participate in project planning processes.
- Establish and maintain test environments.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve problems.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools.
- Serve as liaison between development teams, senior LOB
management, vendors, and other DevOps teams. Qualifications
Expert (7 years) experience in the following areas:
- Extensive Continuous Integration (CI) experience and
- Design, implementation, and management of Continuous
Integration (CI) process for medium size organization
- Design, implementation, and management of Continuous Deployment
process for medium size organization
- Subject matter expertise in primary area.
- Cloud (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google) Proven success in
completing projects using ETL tools (ex: Clover and SSIS).
Documented process flows using visual aids (ex: MS Visio).
BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field a plus.
Additional coursework and/or some training certifications are
Deep Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) including
Agile Development Methodology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and, consultative skills,
work effectively with clients, vendors, peers, and business/IT
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to stay current on trends and development within functional
area of experience along with the industry.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to learn, a can do attitude, and motivated to succeed
Knowledge of at least one and preferably two programming languages
(e.g. Java, C/C++/C#)
Must demonstrate accountability, sound decision making, analytical
thoroughness, clear and concise communications, and the ability to
lead and mentor team members.
