Your Career This position is based in our Santa Clara, California headquarters. You will be focused on supporting the Corporate Sales organization within the Americas Theater in the achievement of their objectives. Currently, there are close to 200 sales professionals in Plano, TX and Santa Clara, CA teaming with the field team in pursuit of opportunities and servicing thousands of accounts in the Commercial Segment across the U.S, Canada, and Latin America. Palo Alto Networks is a Channel-centric sales organization so experience or a good understanding of Channel dynamics is a plus. One of the most important objectives of this role is to establish a successful and strong partnership with the VP of Corporate Sales, the first-line sales leadership team, the Corporate Sales reps, and the Sales Operations organization. You will be expected to be able to quickly assess the needs, risks and opportunities of the business and become an advocate and valued operational advisor and strategy consultant to the leadership team and help create and implement the appropriate programs that will enable the team for success. Your Impact - Support the Corporate Sales leadership in the optimization of the team strategy including the review of the current roles in the organization and the identification and recommendation of adjustments to cover any gaps - Market and account-level analysis to delineate and match the business covered by the organization with the applicable resources - Enable a data-directed organization - Integrate with cross-functional teams the design, development, and enablement of Key Performance Indicators and business measurements to operate the business - Continuously run analysis to optimize quota distribution across all teams and monitor performance - Forecasting, quarterly assessments, annual planning, and other analytic activities - Dedicated process monitoring to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and consistency in the organization's planning efforts - Work to ensure all the supported organization objectives are properly understood, communicated and assigned in a timely fashion - Dedicatedly monitors and communicates all initiatives and developments to the management team and the reps, as needed, and facilitates their implementation - Coordination of the onboarding and continuous enablement of new and existing sales reps and sales management in the application of a well-defined sales methodology and the use of tools, resources, and people at their disposal - Dedicated identification of opportunities for process improvement - Work closely with sales management and reps to inspect sales process quality - Assist sales management in understanding and resolving process bottlenecks and inconsistencies - Facilitate an environment of continuous process improvement - Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key personnel Your Experience - Proven experience in collaborating with sales leadership in the management of their business - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience - Experience and understanding of the Commercial/Medium segment and Inside Sales organizations and your vision and feedback are a key part of the decision-making process - Proven experience in the definition and implementation of sales processes and system infrastructure initiatives. Participated in the discussion and may have trained others in the use of the resulting strategies or solutions - Experience in training and providing feedback to others - Analytical aptitude and ability to wrangle, process and present data - Familiarity with the basic system building blocks: CRM (**************), Planning (Anaplan), Analytical tools (Tableau), and front-end Inside Sales system would be a plus - Excellent time and project management skills - Able to communicate with clearly, effectively and in a reciprocal way and always keep things positive and in perspective The Team Palo Alto Networks has brought technology to market that is reshaping the cybersecurity threat and protection landscape.
