Job Description:
Position: Business Systems Analyst III (San Ramon, CA) Duties: Create and orchestrate project plans for the entire
development lifecycle, including maintenance planning. Review design
proposals and provide feedback on alignment with business requirements.
Ensure application systems are aligned with user needs, objectives,
process, and overall business strategies. Provide consultation on
complex projects. Guide implementation of new business processes to
support system changes and ensure integrated system and production
support is in place. Provide guidance to Business Systems Analysts and
business partners in all day-to-day application and production issues.
Develop systems implementation strategies in partnership with key
business stakeholders.. Lead reviews, chronicle, and obtain formal
approval from business owners, DEV, and QA on detailed functional
requirements. Optimize application solutions for multiple departments.
Contribute to resolution of design issues to facilitate development. Ensure
that project delivery and implemented solutions meet business
requirements. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer
Science, or a related field and three (3) years’ experience performing
PeopleSoft HCM design and implementation; or, in the alternative: a
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Information
Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5)
years of experience as indicated above. One year of experience must include: • Design, configure, upgrade or implement for PeopleSoft HCM
for NA Payroll, Core HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, Accounting
and/or customized functionality. • Analyze client specific business requirements,
create/update Functional Design Documents and implement new
process/interfaces. • Manage new enhancements and issues reported, provide
functional guidance and support to various development teams. • Report and track functional gaps and issues through
client specific defect tracking management tools. • Create various test plans and test scripts to perform
various testing phases (system, Integration, functional, end-to-end,
and parallel). • Design processes and interfaces programs, between Client PeopleSoft HCM/Time and Labor applications, 3rd party
applications and multiple vendors as required by the business. • Troubleshoot issues, write SQL queries for research, root
cause and fixes. • Interface with business leaders, including IT, HR,
