The Family, Interiors, Nutrition & Apparel (FINA) Department has been active in addressing quality of life issues at San Francisco State University for over a century and has firm roots in providing quality education that addresses trends and issues that impact the lives of individuals, families, and communities. The department's goals is to provide a transformative student experience that advances understanding of contemporary issues that influence food, shelter, clothing, and relationship needs. Implicit within the four FINA programs is a commitment to addressing racial and social justice through curricula, self-expression, student engagement, and example. The core of each of the FINA programs is to encourage critical thought, diverse ways of understanding, and the development of ethical professional practices which will enhance the quality of life for those who our students will serve.ApplicationApplicants are required to upload the following documents:

• The names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of two professional references who are in a position to comment on the applicant's current or previous teaching experience.This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time, temporary, assignments on an as-needed basis, beginning Fall 2024 & Spring 2025.Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,007 - $6,359 per monthLecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,925 - $12,594 per monthLecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,500 - $13,831 per monthLecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $8,184 - $14,487 per monthAnticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
