Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate II for a
fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Post all incoming payments, correspondence, denials, and other
items to patient accounts
Research and resolve payment posting errors, missing information,
and balance issues
Collaborate with teams, meet productivity goals, and escalate
issues to leadership
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of full cycle medical billing experience and 6
months in a healthcare Cash Posting role
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers
Basic understanding of accounting procedures
Experience with insurance claim appeals and electronic
remittances
