  • 5+ years of experience in conducting end-to-end research including creating a research plan, overseeing recruiting, moderation, analysis, report writing and final presentation of results.
  • Expertise with a broad set of user-centered research methods, including but not limited to one-on-one interviews, contextual inquiry and ethnographic field studies, surveys, A/B testing, focus groups, usability testing, concept testing, diary studies, etc.
  • Confidence and experience with mixed method research, metrics, and synthesizing and correlating quantitative and syndicated data with qualitative user research.
  • Strong project management, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Comfortable managing multiple research projects and planning research up to 6-12 months ahead.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, distill it into meaningful insights and tell a compelling story that that inspires others into action.
  • Knowledge of virtual user research platforms (e.g. UserZoom, dScout, Usertesting)
  • Experience in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking mindset.

It is a dream role for someone who wants to push the boundaries of health wearables, leveraging a novel non-invasive, continuous health monitoring technology combining traditional health wearable markers with new metabolic markers such as glucose. The role will be responsible for the primary user research of core product features and for translating user insights into requirements, working closely with in-house ID, HI and Product Management. It resides in the Product department and reports to the CPO.You'll be responsible for:
    • User Research Strategy Definition: Define the user research strategy for Spiden's first consumer wearable, app, and web applications. Identify knowledge gaps and devise a plan to gather insights for informed product decisions.
    • Mixed Methods Research Execution: Plan and conduct high-quality mixed methods research, covering generative to evaluative aspects, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods. Lead all research aspects, from defining objectives to analyzing data and creating summative reports.
    • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization. Inform product and design strategy based on research insights. Contribute to enhancing the user experience through collaborative efforts.
    • User Advocacy and Insight-Driven Decision Making: Evangelize user research throughout the organization and act as a top advocate for the user in partnership with all teams. Champion the use of insights to drive decision making at all levels.
    • Research Process: Establish the user research process and lead ongoing improvements. Set standards and best practices for research methods' approach and rigor.
    • Team Building and Management:Build and lead the user research team. Mentor junior to mid-level researchers as the team expands.
    • Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors as needed for recruitment and the end-to-end research processes.Our recruitment process
