Job Description:

Factory makes autonomous Droids that help developers build better software. As the Design Lead at Factory, you will be responsible for shaping the visual and experiential future of our company. You'll be our first design hire and will work closely with our entire team to conceive and implement cutting-edge design solutions across our entire company. We're looking for individuals with a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and a passion for turning science fiction into reality. Responsibilities

• Lead and shape all aspects of our company and product design from conceptualization to implementation
• Collaborate closely with our entire team, understanding emerging research capabilities, unsolved customer needs, and the pulse of contemporary design.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on design concepts to improve user experience, based on user feedback, data, and tech constraints
• Advocate for design thinking across the organization, and ensure that the user's perspective is integral to our product development process Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience in UX/UI design, ideally in tech startups or early-stage companies
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with video editing tools like Premier and RunwayML
  • Experience with designing systems for both web and mobile platforms
  • Ability to handle the entire design process, from problem discovery and user research to UI/interaction design and prototyping
  • Deep passion for user experience, and a track record of crafting products that users love
  • Own problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done
  • Demonstrated passion for start-ups or early-stage companies
