The Point72 Compliance department employs a number of professionals supporting global investment and trading activities by establishing and enforcing the firm's compliance policies, providing real-time advice, and conducting pre and post trade surveillance. What you'll do
In this role, you will join the Point72 Private Investments Compliance team to provide advisory compliance support to the firm's private equity and venture capital strategies, with some exposure to the firm's public equity business. Specifically, you will:

• Serve as an embedded Compliance contact for Point72 Private Investments employees, acting as a subject matter expert to ensure adherence to the firm's policies and procedures
  
• Partner with the broader Compliance team to provide on-the-ground compliance support and chaperone events for the west coast offices
  
• Build partnerships with the Point72 Private Investments teams, and continuously interact with them to assist in responding to real-time questions and issues
  
• Assist with tracking, documenting, and conducting onboarding and annual compliance training
  
• Assist with drafting, enhancing, and implementing compliance best practices across a broad range of business activities for the firm's private equity and venture capital strategies
  
• Collaborate internally with the broader Compliance department
  
• Assist with advising key stakeholders and management on applicable regulatory developments, and help draft and refine policies and training as required
  
• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives
  
  What's required
  
  • 
    
  • 2-5 years professional experience in compliance or legal relating to private equity, venture capital, or public equities
    
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
    
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    
  • Experience partnering successfully with business colleagues
    
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills

      The annual base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
