Lead Product Designer / Manager
Remote in New York, New Jersey or California
We are helping our e-commerce client hire a player/coach design leader. The ideal candidate would have a strong design aesthetic, have experience with universal design and with shipping successful products in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

• Lead projects and collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, in design and e-commerce.
• Partner with our product and engineering teams to create design strategies that drive the biggest impact in the shortest amount of time
• Be an excellent collaborator and leader on the design team to establish intuitive UX and UI design patterns through mentorship and thought leadership
• Focus on the practice of design thinking and current UX research methodologies
• Augment and enhance design systems and UI patterns
• Communicate and present your design ideas to keep leaders, product, and engineering informed
• Collaborate with other designers to promote a high level of craftsmanship, while fostering a culture of learning and development
• Distill complex problems into simple interaction models, workflows, UI designs, and interactive details that resonate with brands and their customers Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in product design.
  • A beautiful portfolio with case studies of professional design projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
