DesignerRegan Baker Design is an interior design firm committed to

life. We are a female-led, mid-sized, design studio with a strong
passion for creative collaboration, intentional and personalized
interiors, and fun, nice people. -RBD is seeking a Senior Designer
to work under the Principal to lead on all aspects of the design
process, from Initial Design Study through to Installation &
Styling. The Senior Designer will manage a team of 2+ designers and
serve as RBD's lead to conceptualize the project as a whole, set
the initial design direction, and drive critical aesthetic &
technical decisions throughout the design and construction process,
for both the client and full project team. The ideal candidate will
have 8+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design
with excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and
drafting skills.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and articulate the
client's goals and requirements; Develop documents, drawings and
diagrams that outline those needs. -Develop overall design for
projects and oversee the interior design intent for each project
from concept stage through installationServe as primary interface
with the client, consultants and project team with regard to
concept development, design presentations, project management,
construction administration & installationDevelop design sketches,
layouts and details based on initial sketches in tandem with team
and PrincipalManage and review construction documentsReview
engineering and other consultant drawings to ensure they comply
with design intentionLead design and implementation of custom
furniture and millworkResearch, source and select FF&E and
FF&A for projectsOversee preparation of client FF&E and
FF&A budgets and specificationsPrepare specifications and
schedules with accurate product information for all furniture,
lighting and materialsEnsure that all presentation materials and
project documents meet RBD standardParticipate in site meetings
with owner, consultants and contractors including
installationEfficiently manage and delegate to designers, design
assistants, and interns on project team; demonstrate strong
managerial, leadership and communication skills; Interact
effectively with the RBD design team on multiple concurrent
projectsInterface with Principal on project design development,
design process, and project progressRequirementsBachelor degree or
equivalent experience in Interior Design, Architecture or related
field8+ years of interior design experience in residential or
hospitality designExtensive knowledge of design principles,
aesthetics, and space planning methodology and ability to
independently drive a project from start to finishExtensive
knowledge of furnishings and finishesExtensive knowledge of
interior architectural detailing -Extensive knowledge of
Construction Documents and proceduresExtensive knowledge of budget
preparation, tracking, and managementExtensive knowledge of AutoCAD
and InDesignExtensive knowledge of custom furniture and millwork
designProficient rendering skills; hand sketching a plusFamiliarity
with local residential building codes -Familiarity in Sketch-Up and
Studio Designer a plusMinimum of 3 days in San Francisco office per
