Summary: Examines academic records and required documents of Outlier applicants to determine eligibility for admission to academic programs at GGU. Will act as GGU point of contact for questions and/or escalations regarding Outlier applicants.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Compares transcripts of courses with school entrance or degree requirements and prepares evaluation form, listing courses for graduation.
  
• Studies course prerequisites, degree equivalents, and accreditation of prior schools, and computes grade point averages to establish students' qualifications for admission.
  
• Interprets and applies university policies in admitting students.
  
• Evaluates transfer credit applicability on a course-by-course basis.
  
• Determines international applicant eligibility.
  
• Provides information to Outlier Enrollment Team regarding evaluations, admission and transfer credit procedures, registration policies, and general academic policies.
  
• Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about individuals through records, tests, interviews, and professional sources, to appraise needs for educational planning.
  
• Researches and resolves issues or refers students to appropriate department or individual.
  
• Provides case management leadership to move student from application to admission.
  
• Refers students with academic discrepancies to proper department heads for further action.
  
• Administers and coordinates academic petitions, approves registration, and/or provides registration holds.
  
• Performs data entry in Ellucian Recruit CRM and Ellucian Colleague.
  
• Generates correspondence and documentation in Recruit CRM.
  
• Performs related duties such as advising and informing other university faculty and staff on admissions procedures and policies.
  
• Assists with recruitment and outreach activities including admissions events and admissions webinars for prospective students.
  
• Provides reporting and data on Outlier applications and admits.
  
• Other related duties, as assigned.
  
  
  Qualifications Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • Ability to work on campus in San Francisco, CA.
    
    
    
    
    Education and/or Experience:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of professional experience in admissions, academic advising or transfer articulation is preferred.
