What does an Account Coordinator do? The Account Coordinator position is a progressive role in Account Services. This entry-level position includes three phases of growth and a pathway into a career within the Account Services department. In phase one, the Account Coordinator will learn all about the pharmaceutical world, starting with building a strong base knowledge around legal and regulatory submissions, as well as learning about the nuances of tactics, screenshots, documentation and client systems. In the second phase, the Account Coordinator will start learning about brand guidelines, annotated reference documents and claims. In the third phase, the Account Coordinator will begin to align with a specific account team to take on project ownership and build client relationships. Through each phase, the Account Coordinator will build the knowledge needed to be a successful Account person. This person must be able to work in an ever-changing environment and must have a positive, can-do attitude. What are we looking for?

  • Interest in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Industry-related internship is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising, with understanding of digital marketing, media and technology preferred
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient with business software (MS Office) and online tools
  • Introductory technical knowledge and willingness to learn
  • Client service mindset
  • Good interpersonal and writing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
