We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Training Support Specialist with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team in the Bay Area and assist in administering our professional development training program. The professional development of Surefox employees ensures long-term success, retention, and marketability for all levels of Surefox employees. You will report directly to the Training Program Manager who will provide you leadership, guidance, and direction in the conduct of your duties. You will assist the Training Program Manager in the administrative and instructional design requirements to run high quality training programs in order to meet Surefox---s extensive training requirements. You will use your subject matter expertise to assist the Program Manager in the development of courseware and provide industry leading instruction. What you will do: Enroll and provide pre-course coordinating instructions to students Receive new employees from Surefox HR Department to ensure seamless transition into the onboarding training pipeline Assist with the creation and administration of Surefox---s Training Database: gather, synchronize and track current qualifications, expirations, and various training data to ensure accuracy of training information and to ensure training qualifications do not expire. Create reports and brief the Training Program Manager and Training Program Director on the current and accurate status of training qualifications of Surefox employees. Prepare course materials for various training events. Collaborate with program personnel to communicate qualification renewal milestones to avoid expiration of critical qualifications. Enroll and track the progress of Surefox employees participating in various concurrent training programs. Work independently and adapt to various operational tempos while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy. Collaborate with program personnel to identify training improvement opportunities and capability gaps, and develop effective training solutions as necessary. Assist in the development of new training programs and improve existing training material by developing outcome-based training programs that increase student level of understanding and mastery of both hard and soft security-related skills. Edit and format training materials to ensure consistency and brand recognition. Collaborate with Surefox Licensing Department to ensure that state and federal regulations and licensing requirements are integrated into the Surefox Training Database. Attend Training Program staff meetings to identify, determine, and assess the training implications of proposed and anticipated changes in the operating environment. Develop and provide options to Training Program leadership in response to changing conditions in order to expand Surefox capacity. Instruct in-person training courses as required. Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures. Conduct research to identify, understand, and integrate industry best practices into Surefox training programs. Catalog and archive training and feedback surveys to identify and memorialize strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and current training sentiment across the organization. Meet with and develop positive relationships with training vendors; select and book training venues as required. Additional duties as required. What is required: Must be eligible for employment within the United States Must be located in or willing to relocate into the San Fransisco Bay Area. This is NOT Remote Work. Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening Ability to work from home Must have a high school degree or equivalent and meet one of the following criteria: 2 years of leadership experience 2 years of military, law enforcement, or security industry-related experience 2 years of experience navigating LMS (Learning Management Systems) with various HRIS (HR Information Systems) / HRM (HR Management) Tools Must present a confident and articulate presence to all levels of interaction Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds Ability to build presentations using a variety of Google tools Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions An understanding of how to quantify process improvements Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as a team member Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling stressful situations All applicants must be able to successfully complete each event of the Surefox Physical Assessment Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation. Please be aware that this physical agility test is a requirement for any candidate applying for a Security/Instructor role with Surefox. The SPAT is a sequence of multiple physical events consisting of a distance run; stair climb, dummy drag, and medical bag carry. Possess a valid and current driver license Valid U.S Passport Ability to work nights and weekends as required Have an operational understanding of today---s technology across all platforms Strong writing and interpersonal skills Must be comfortable interfacing with all internal Surefox employees, management, clients, and external contacts in a professional and collegial manner Maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance Have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the Surefox team What is desired: Military service is a plus Bachelor---s degree or equivalent Report writing experience %21255978%
