DescriptionInterested in building a data driven business? The
Business Analytics team is looking for a Business
Analytics---Associate to join us managing the data needs of
LinkedIn's Global Business Organization (GBO). Spanning data
capture, architecture, reporting, integration, and governance, you
will be the bridge connecting the business and its engineering
partners. You will gain a broad spectrum of experience applying
your technical data skills to drive strategy and improve company
operations.This role will be a good fit for a high energy candidate
with exceptional quantitative, communication, and project
management skills. You'll have the opportunity to apply your deep
understanding of System Design and Analytics to optimize our
end-to-end data architecture and reporting capabilities while
influencing LinkedIn's broader data strategy.Responsibilities:

- Partner with our Global Business Organization (GBO) teams to
understand LinkedIn's analytics needs and to define---reporting,
dashboarding, and data requirements
- Implement and support critical data models, datasets, and
dashboards across our operational reporting ecosystem (Anaplan,
PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Support technology migration efforts via audits and robust
project management
- Oversee processes to review requirements and identify
opportunities for standardization and simplification to shape our
Business Intelligence roadmap
- Leverage best practices for accessing and utilizing data, and
share them across LinkedIn
- Partner with Data Science and Engineering to build the optimal
platform to support our data processing and consumption needs
- Communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and
senior business leaders QualificationsBasic Qualifications:---
- 3+ years of work experience---
- 2+ years of experience with SQL or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Math, CS, Economics, Business, Science,
Engineering---or other quantitative field, OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications: ------
- Analytics experience: 5+ years of experience---in consulting,
strategy, analytics, product management, or technical
roles------
- Natural problem-solver: Comfortable with data and ambiguity;
able to both delve into the details and operational tactics, and
engage about the big picture
- Proactive and passionate about results: Independently capable
of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, and delivering
results in challenging situations
- Highly analytical: Experience decomposing and solving real
world business problems including querying data, building models,
and developing data visualizations
- Independent operator: Ability to act with limited oversight on
day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities
- Adaptable to---change:---excited---by working in a quickly
evolving team---
- Effective communicator: Excellent communication skills with the
ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple,
actionable recommendations
- Tech Industry or SaaS experience: Subject matter expertise in
B2B sales processes and/or experience working in high-growth,
performance focused environments
- Partner to senior leaders: Experience working closely with
senior executives to solve challenging business problems; Ability
to credibly and compellingly present and advocate recommendations
