Job DescriptionAbout SafelyYouSafelyYou is an extremely
mission-driven company that raised $60m in 2021 through series A
and series B financing and is now rapidly scaling. Our company spun
out of the UC Berkeley AI Research Lab and develops artificial
intelligence to support care for those with Alzheimer's disease,
dementia, and other cognitive impairments. Alzheimer's disease is
the single most expensive disease in the US, costing an estimated
$600b per year in direct and indirect costs. It affects 1 in 3
people over 85 and 1 in 9 people over 65. Our first product is
focused on reducing the frequency and impact of falls, the leading
cause of hospitalization for those living with dementia. We have
peer-reviewed results showing up to 80% fewer falls with an average
of 40% fewer falls and 80% fewer ER visits from falls. We've raised
capital from top VC firms, including Founders Fund, Eclipse,
Foundation Capital, and Data Collective, and the largest providers
in the space are actively using, expanding, and evangelizing the
service. We have also been awarded grants from the National
Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation, given the
national importance of the issue – as the population continues to
age, the global costs of Alzheimer's and dementia are expected to
double over the next 10 years. With fewer and fewer young people
available to provide the care needed, we must find a way for
technology to bridge the gap.Your Role at SafelyYouThe Account
Executive will drive qualified leads through the entire sales
process, including contract negotiations. This includes account
targeting and prospecting, sales due diligence, professional sales
presentations along with ongoing results reporting and updates to
company management. This role is ideal for an individual who
possesses a deep understanding of the sales process dynamics,
superb interpersonal skills, effective writing skills, demonstrated
characteristics of a risk-taker with good judgment and is
enthusiastic about making a real impact within the healthcare
space.
- Meet or exceed individual revenue goals.
- Deliver high-quality motivational sales presentations to
prospective clients
- Effectively drive sales opportunities in all Company
market-facing events ie. trade shows
- Move leads efficiently through the sales process to final
contract
- Obtain support and guidance from others in the Company as
needed to close pending deals
- Answering all client questions; including products, prices, and
availability
- Adjusts content of sales presentations based on pre-sales due
diligence
- Identify opportunities to enhance & excellent the sales
process
- Travel as needed to potential clients to evaluate needs or
promote products and services.
- Lead contract negotiations with prospective clients
- Update and maintain all opportunities; follow on activities in
Company CRM
- Coordinating sales efforts with Company marketing programs
- Efficiently hand off deals closed to implementation and
customer success
- Keep management informed daily, weekly, monthly and annual
territory analysis
- Monitors competition on pricing, products, new products,
marketing and sales techniques
- Provides prospect feedback on products, services, and policy to
respective Company partners
- Maintains professional, market & product knowledge via;
publications, networking and professional organizationsThe Ideal
Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5+ years experience as an Account Executive or equivalent in
a SaaS company, preferably in a startup environment
- Healthcare background a plus
- Passionate about our mission and our technology
- Solid understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- Commitment to integrity, customer service and positive
organization interactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver on
multiple projects at a time
- Demonstrated ability to wear many hats, manage ambiguity, and
apply problem-solving skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport
with customers and constituents
- Comfortable working in a remote and independent
environment
- Experience with G Suite, Office 360, HubSpot and Slack
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy equipment
