Job DescriptionOpenSpace is on a mission to bring new levels of
transparency and tracking to construction. Our solutions combine
simple off-the-shelf 360° cameras, computer vision, and AI to make
it incredibly easy to capture a complete visual record of the
jobsite, share it via the cloud with remote teams and process for

over a billion square feet of active construction projects, across

Berkeley, Penn) out there.About the foundersJeevan Kalanithi, the
CEO, sold his first company, Sifteo, to 3D Robotics, where he
became the President. 3D Robotics, a 200+ person company, launched
a drone which made $45M in its first year. Philip DeCamp, the CTO,
was most recently a machine vision Research Scientist at MIT, where
he completed his PhD (and Masters, and BS). Michael Fleischman,
Chief Scientist, started a company, Bluefin Labs, which specialized
in analysis of massive amounts of video; Bluefin became one of
Twitter's largest acquisitions. Michael's PhD is also in machine
vision from MIT.The RoleOver the last year, our marketing team has
grown rapidly. In this role you will report directly to the
Marketing Director and will lead desgin and play a meaningful role
on our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for
OpenSpace is looking for a new in-house creative leader. Reporting
to the Director of Marketing, the Communication designer will be
responsible for leading the creative design strategy and execution
for OpenSpace. You will be our brand's biggest champion. You will
constantly challenge the creative and content to raise our brand
awareness and engage customers in their journey. You will know how
to measure good creative and garner enthusiasm for its success. If
this sounds like you, you are the next Communication Designer. What
you'll do
- Your work will help develop a visual and digital identity for
OpenSpace, helping to convey a consistent brand across all of our
activities, both to the outside world as well as internally.
- Collaborate with marketing leaders and executive partners to
drive key business initiatives through strong storytelling
- Lead creative strategy and ensure brand continuity while
maintaining involvement in day-to-day creative work
- Ensure all projects meet or exceed high creative standards and
business objective
- Implement creative vision and concepts across various creative
projects, overseeing them to completion across all creative assets
for marketing campaigns including video, digital, web, social
media, content, sales materials, events, reports and more
- Responsible for data asset management of marketing creative to
ensure that brand assets are organized properly and accessible to
others
- Source and oversee the management of contractors and agencies
that further support the creative needs of OpenSpace
- Build team cohesion through open communication and leadership,
working across the marketing and product UX teamWhat we're looking
for
- A bachelor's or BFA degree in communications, graphic design or
related field
- 6+ years of related experience as creative leader in
advertising or design
- Prior experience developing and driving enterprise level brand
at a B2B company. Experience in technology strongly preferred
- An exceptional design sensibility (typography, layout, and
prototyping) and strong ability for creating beautiful visuals with
an understanding of business objectives -- with a portfolio to
impress
- Experience working with complex product and/or in complex
industries
- Experience managing outside contractors, agencies, and other
creative resources
- Proven cross functional relationship builder with superb
interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker and self starter; able to work independently;
comfortable with managing internal and external stakeholders
- Outstanding project management skills
- Experience with a variety of graphic design and interactive
tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc
- Experience establishing a brand identity, from understanding
strategy to creative interpretation and execution; designing visual
identities, defining brand architectures, and building clear and
useful guidelines for implementationCharacteristics (How you like
