Whistle is a pet tech brand transforming the way we care for our pets by empowering the people who love them. As the pet wearable market leaders, we track pet's health, location, and fitness, and provide access to on-demand televet services. The Product Team at Kinship is at the forefront of digital services and platforms for millennial pet parents. We're product managers, designers, and researchers driving innovation in the pet world through the development of platforms that benefit consumers and their pets. Our team is a go-getting, dedicated group committed to bringing everyone closer to their pet and making that experience about ease and joy
You are a dynamic, tech-savvy, solution-oriented designer who is always looking to broaden your skillset. You have a knack for visual design and have experience applying a brand's voice across print, packaging, and digital products. You put a lot of thought into your designs and always have a strong, clearly articulated rationale for every design decision.
Work hands-on to develop user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity visual designs that delight pet parents across Whistle's products and experiences
Engage closely with product management, marketing, and the design team to specify and implement new product features
Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product to design and implement direct-to-consumer website iterations
Interpret customer data to improve our direct-to-consumer shopping experience
Provider input and perspective on industrial design
Represent Whistle design in the Kinship properties design brand ecosystem.
Partner with the Kinship creative team to deliver best-in-class branding and shopping experiences
Evangelize brand and UX guidelines and evolve our use of aesthetics to communicate with customers

Technical Skills
3+ years of experience in UX/UI/Product design with a proven track record solving complex interaction problems across multiple platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent design-related professional experience.
Must be able to shepherd a design project through its entire life cycle: Initial user research, wireframes, visual design, interaction design, prototypes, user testing, engineering build cycle, and post-launch evaluation.
Strong understanding of the technical capabilities and limitations of both web and mobile applications.
An interest in growth opportunities related to industrial design
Superb communication skills and ability to evangelize design ideas to diverse stakeholders.
Expertise using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design-related software required.
A portfolio of real-life case studies demonstrating a breadth of skill and style.
