That's why Hemmersbach is The Social Purpose IT Company.Your TasksDesk Side Support Technician with 2+ years of experience in supporting end users in an office and Lab environment. Candidates should have the skills and requirements listed below. Candidate should be willing to support both an office and Lab environment. Position will be 40 hours a week for 6 months with extensions.Rate as a 1099 contractor to start will be $25/hr.
Staffed Technicians responding to tickets within Ticketing Tool. Following services are in scope:

  • IMAC/D
  • Break/Fix or Hands &Eyes
  • Onsite Support
  • Network Hands & Eyes (smart hands and eyes)
  • Project Services
  • VIP Users Support
  • IT Vending Machines
  • IT Kiosks
  • Device Deployment and Depot Management
  • Administration of A/CMDBOur RequirementsAs a minimum, each onsite support Desk Side Tech shall have the following skillset:
    • Good customer facing skills and be well presented
    • Independent and pro-active thinking
    • Builds effective relationships both within the team and across the business and Professional Services
    • Able to work to specified standards and required levels of deportment, conduct, and sound ethical workplace practices
    • Able to work alone and unsupervised, taking the initiative when necessary
    • Organizes and prioritizes work appropriately
    • Experience of using a Call Logging system
    • Good working knowledge of Windows 7/10 and related Office applications
    • Experience with assignment systems and end users to AD groups
    • Experience with VPN
    • Support experience of MACs would be beneficial
    • Knowledge of mobile devices - Android and iOS
    • Experience with building, configuring, replacing and troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware components.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM would be advantageous during troubleshooting, H&E support
    • Ability to replace defective parts, as identified by TCS
    • Excellent hands on experience in installation and troubleshooting DC equipment's, Rack and Stack of the DC equipment/cable
    • Valid driving license
    • Excellent communication are mandatory in English and local language; regional language support would be a plus
    • 36 months of experience in IT field is required
