Based in the UK, but with one of our major markets being the US,
we're looking for an International Head of Content
Glorify began its journey in 2019, with a hard-launch in November
2020, and has quickly grown to become the leading Christian Daily
Worship app in the world. With successful launches in the US,
Brazil and LATAM, around 2 million downloads and 1 million + Active
Users, Glorify is on its way to becoming the worlds largest digital
platform for the 2.5 billion Christians worldwide. Think Calm or
Headspace but for the Christian community.
Glorify utilises bite-size readings, meditations, music and
gamification techniques, to enable people to spend daily time with
God through guided worship routines, curated content and a
world-class user experience. Strong relationships with influencers
in this space has helped drive this growth, and now translating
into more languages will further that growth globally.
Having recently secured our Series A round from Tier 1 VCs, we are
now looking to significantly scale up our team, product development
and marketing activity. Do you want to be part of our next stage of
growth, as we expand around the world?
Reporting to the Creative Director you will own the content
strategy for all categories within the Glorify app, in all
You will lead the content creation process, working with an
internal team and a range of external freelance talent, from
designers to theologists, psychologists, producers and narrators.
You will lead ideation sessions, define the briefs and work with
the team to execute.
You will work hand-in-hand with the Product and Marketing teams to
glean insights from engagement metrics, content placement
variances, distribution platform performance, SEO trends and
marketplace information, to inform both your new content
programming and your User engagement improvements.
Working with the Product Design team, you will be responsible for
content placement and layout within the app. With Personalization
becoming a major feature of the User experience, you will apply
data-driven decisions on programming, placement and algorithms for
individual content feeds.
We are a global business and we are seeing huge growth in Latin
American Christian communities, so you will need to build an
understanding of local markets and global trends quickly. In
addition you will work closely with our Marketing teams, to ensure
that our content is leveraged in the most effective way to drive
User acquisition and growth.
You should be an expert in creating digital content, ideally
working as a Head of Content in your current role. You must have
been responsible for creating and executing a content strategy for
a consumer app or tech platform, including content placement within
the user environment. You must have a thorough understanding of the
creative process for video and audio based content and have strong
creative abilities yourself.
Using data effectively is really important in this role so we will
want to hear about a time when you had to adjust your strategy in
response to data insights during execution, or added new,
successful content categories as result of consumer-driven
You will own this function of the business so its really important
you can create or optimise processes around content creation. Well
want to hear about a time when your improvements really impacted
the efficiency of your team.
Ideally you will have previous experience in producing content for
Christian communities, but if not you should have some strong
examples of times when you have delivered a content strategy for
users that you were unfamiliar with.
Finally Spanish or Portuguese would be very useful in this role,
but are not a prerequisite so long as you have been responsible for
content production in non-native languages or with unfamiliar

department, with a mixture of in-house team and freelancers.
While a UK based candidate would be ideal, we offer flexible
working and can accommodate overseas remote working options. Most
staff are in the office three days a week, in a slightly edgy
office space at The Handbag Factory in Vauxhall, that includes a
gym and several other amenities.
