Job Description:

This Senior Business Continuity Specialist is an integral role in the Global Business Continuity Program to partner with teams across a leading technology company to develop and exercise recovery strategies to keep the organization resilient during disruptive events. This is a senior level role that reports directly to the Global Business Continuity Manager. This role requires a good understanding of adaptive business continuity planning strategy and business operations, with a heavy focus on financial regulation. This role will assist in maintaining and maturing the business continuity program to improve resiliency and protect our people, assets reputation. Responsibilities * Work closely with the Global Business Continuity Manager to develop and implement a transformative world-class BC Program. * Support Global Security Resiliency Team to implement program policy, guidelines, methodology, for developing cross-functional teams business continuity plans. * Lead BC life-cycle engagement with Business Units * Facilitate collaboration with teams and ability to informally influence cross-functional teams. * Facilitate the development and execution of Tabletop Exercises. * Contribute to the documentation and issuance of program calendars. * Support the team to develop and facilitate presentations on business continuity to stakeholders of all levels. * Develop and lead business continuity trainings and exercises. * Track and report teams compliance with BC guidelines * Input data, track metrics, and report on impact for the Business Continuity team. * Other activities as required. Requirements * Minimum 5+ years of relevant business continuity experience. Industry certifications such as ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, ISO22301 Lead Implementer are preferred. * Experience with global Business Continuity standards and frameworks * Ability to work well in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams. * Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking skills, effective interpersonal skills, strong formal presentation abilities, and strong project management experience * Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau and Visio * Ability to communicate effectively and adapt quickly. * Experience working with a large global company. * Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen and technical ability. * Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change.
