Daffodil Digital is looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist. This is a full-time position, offering a chance to gain great experience in social media, digital marketing, content strategy, and communications with our fun and innovative clients.

  • 3-5+ years working in social media/digital marketing at an agency or in-house
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to work independently, thrive in a startup environment 
  • Entrepreneurial, energetic, creative, proactive and solution-oriented 
  • Ability to balance day-to-day execution and big-picture, strategic thinking 
  • Capable of coaching/mentoring 



  • Fluent in social marketing best practices and tools across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills with a knack for embodying a brand voice
  • Experience with managing a social media editorial content calendar, as well as community management across social media platforms 
  • Able to use strategic, creative, and analytical thinking to inform decisions 
  • Able to ideate and develop social media campaigns that map to the brand goals 
  • Fluent in digital marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter & LinkedIn Analytics, and social media management platforms 
  • Experience with social media ads; SEO, SEM, Google adwords is welcomed, but not required
  • Existing influencer relations and experience is great, but not required 



  • Strong organizational, planning, and project/campaign management skills
  • Must have ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment and must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be confident at leading and supporting multiple client accounts and comfortable with daily client communications
  • Able to use strategic thinking to make smart client decisions and offer day-to-day client counsel 



  • Lead the creation of strategic content plans that are designed to help drive clients business objectives across digital platforms
  • Stay current on digital storytelling best practices and emerging trends; share knowledge with team and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute digital content strategies including writing briefs, workback plans, and all-around account management; establish and manage processes per project to ensure success
  • Develop and communicate unique social media strategy (paid and organic) for current and new social media platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube
  • Maintain and optimize social editorial calendar (content, promotions, influencer, giveaways, UGC, etc.); analyze key metrics and update performance reports
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, fostering teamwork between digital, PR, creative, design, and insights/analytics
  • Spend consistent face time with client partners to build trust 
  • Participate in ongoing education efforts for the Daffodil Digital team regarding platform updates, strategic thinking in digital, industry trends, new technology, etc.
  • Account manage in collaboration with senior staff and co-founders to ensure account success
  • Work in a team orientated environment and mentor entry-level staff
