Position: Vendor Management Operations Manager

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Length: 6 Months Contract

The Vendor Management Operations Manager will lead all operations in support of the vendor management function, specifically supporting key vendor management activities related to seller outreach and account management, inventory sourcing, and program level tracking and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and track all vendor management activities on behalf of vendor management
  • Lead, prioritize and direct the team to ensure that key metrics and KPIs are met.
  • Review performance trends, identify collaborative opportunities to improve results, set deadlines for improvement and track progress
  • Identify operational gaps in new offerings and set operational requirements for new projects.
  • Assist in the technology and program roadmap for the Vendor Management team
  • Leads the creation and optimization of tooling that supports sourcing including seller submission tools and tracking tools
  • Work cross-functionally with business stakeholders at all levels to represent vendor management updates and priorities
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation and training resources.

  • Expert at all systems vendor managers & sellers interact with - knows how to resolve all minor bugs and user-error issues
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical, and committed to driving quality forward.
  • Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Microsoft office, Word, Excel
  • Excellent organization and mathematical skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of experience as a vendor or category manager or operations manager in eCommerce
  • A track record of driving measurable success by building successful processes and overseeing team operations
