Head of Commercial San Francisco, CA - Remote
WHO ARE WE? We are a mission-driven, venture-backed, grant-awarded
team of clinicians, scientists, engineers, and business leaders who
focus on delivering higher quality surgical care. Using machine
learning and data science, we predict complications so that
surgeons can proactively intervene to mitigate these risks before
and after surgery. We reduce complications, readmissions and
ultimately, assist in bringing the patient safely through the
surgical journey. WHAT WILL YOU DO? K--laHealth is searching for an
individual to lead its commercial efforts and to strategically
craft a scalable early sales engine for K--laHealth's surgical
precision technology and service solution. The person in this
position will prospect and sell these solutions and services using
technical, organizational, and customer relationship skills to
educate our customers and assist them in applying the solutions and
services to their needs. In addition, the person in this position
will work closely with the CEO, Product and Marketing teams,
participating in market planning and technical development of
K--laHealth's products and services. If you are a proven healthcare

RESPONSIBILITIES Generate revenue opportunities by developing key
markets and cultivating long-term relationships with senior-level
hospital contacts Provide strategic input and operational updates
to CEO regarding commercial strategy, organizational structure, and
product value proposition Collaborate with CEO to build long
lasting relationships with hospital customers and key accounts
Manage selling process from lead identification to close, and
manage transition of new contracts to company implementation team
Negotiate with clients on a variety of financial and
delivery-related issues Communicate and coordinate on a regular
basis with all appropriate internal company stakeholders and build
scalable tools/ processes over time Provide timely and accurate
sales forecasts and activity reports including commercial updates
to key stakeholders such as the Board of Directors Keep all account
and prospect information timely and up to date in the company's CRM
system for tracking purposes Meet and/or exceed assigned company
milestones
Qualifications Minimum 10+ years experience selling
software/technology related services into the healthcare
marketplace, specifically hospitals and hospital systems BA or BS
from an accredited 4-year university (or equivalent work
experience) preferred, degree in healthcare-related focus a plus
Familiarity with healthcare SaaS and/or digital healthcare trends,
technologies and business models EHR/EMR experience, particularly
integration of 3rd party systems into existing healthcare IT
systems Experience working with and presenting to C-suite
executives in U.S. hospitals Self-motivated, driven individual with
a 'hunter' mentality who takes full ownership of solving problems
Ability to function in fast-paced environments with high autonomy
levels Strong writing and communication skills (both in person, on
phone, and via video conferences such as Zoom, Hangouts, etc.)
Preferred Experience at a venture backed startup Experience with
Epic Knowledge of surgical field,surgical technologies and/or
medical devices Strong understanding of data technologies (e.g.
Machine Learning, Neural Networks, AI, Deep Learning) Diversity Our
