Description:Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing and engineering new protein affinity reagents to advance our proteomics pipeline
• Expressing and purifying the affinity reagents using multiple expression systems such as E.coli, yeast or mammalian cells.
• Creating new protein expression constructs
• Characterizing the affinity reagents using biophysical techniques such as SPR, ITC, Octet, dynamic and static light scattering
• Ensuring the majority of purified molecules are active/functional
• Working cross functionally with other teams to understand their needs and develop reagents to advance their researchSkills:antibody, ELISA, Protein purification, Protein expressionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of protein expression, purification and characterization experience is required.
  • Previous experience studying protein-protein or protein-substrate interactions is required
  • Strong protein characterization experience is desired
  • Ability to work independently with a proven track record of working in collaborative environment
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills are needed
