and purity of biological substances and products. Job Description
Summary Perform an array of functions that includes receiving and
processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders
from stock, packing, shipping, validating shipping orders,
managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse and
cold room, and keeping work environment clean and orderly. May also
be required to assist in kit assembly with labeling and assembling
of medical diagnostic reagent kits to meet customer demands.
Essential duties and responsibilities Assist shipping and
receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise.
Validation of materials received and data entry into MRP system.
Help with management of cold storage materials by keeping
refrigerators organized and reagent kits properly stored. Prepare
orders by processing requests and work orders; pulling materials;
packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Sort and place
materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to
organizational standards Open and tear down crates, pallets and
other containers as needed. Maintain inventory controls by
collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording
amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a
computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
Prepare parcels for shipping. Oversee quantity and part number
validation of materials packaged for shipment. Assist Logistics and
Warehouse management in tracking of KPI’s for warehouse and
logistics performance. Assemble reagent kits under supervision in a
timely manner. Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping
shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized. Wear the proper
safety equipment. Qualifications Education/Experience • Must have a
High School Diploma or GED • 1-3 years previous work experience in
a similar position preferred, but not required Computer Skills •
Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. • Internet
Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox • Fedex/UPS/DHL shipping portals •
MRP/ERP systems • Must be willing and able to learn other software
programs as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities •
Excellent time management skills • Strong organizational abilities
and attention to detail • Must be willing and able to work on
various tasks to meet Operations requirements • Knowledge of FDA
Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and International Standards (ISO)
pertaining to medical devices helpful • Oral and written
communication skills • Professionalism when working with co-workers
and managers • Ability and willingness to follow detailed
instructions and procedures • Must be able and willing to adhere to
corporation personnel policies and practices, including attendance
and punctuality requirements. Certificate and Licenses • Must
maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving
record. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional
or no variables. Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply,
and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Language Ability Must have the ability to
perform all the following in English: 1. Ability to read, write and
comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos 2.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals 3.
Ability to effectively present information on one-on-one and small
