Job Summary: Track proposals and business development opportunities and provide regular reporting. Follow up with lawyers to track wins, losses and ROI. Assist in creating client proposals RFP (request for proposal) responses, including organizing business development materials; writing and editing copy; proofreading; and managing production, distribution, and follow-up. Research on strategic key clients, industries, and competitors in support of business development initiatives. Conduct market research regarding seminars, publications, and forums and assist in identifying and securing speaking engagements. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of four (4) years of legal services experience is required. A minimum of two (2) years of assisting in creating client proposals (RFPs) in a legal services field. Excellent communication skills, including strong writing, editorial, and proofreading skills Outstanding research, analytical, and critical thinking skills Strong computer skills, including web-based research and Microsoft Office applications.
