Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a
related field or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of
experience in engineering and product operations management across
organizations in enterprise hardware systems (e.g., compute,
networking, storage), with experience in data center infrastructure
and cloud computing. 7 years of experience leading engineering
teams. Experience in server compute systems, storage systems,
networking systems, data center reliability, and development
processes, and acting as a product advisor to multiple
infrastructure engineering teams. Preferred qualifications: MBA or
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Understanding of the complex relationship between the organization
and its environment, identifying connections, adopting different
perspectives, and responding to changing circumstances in a
strategic way. Ability to collaborate effectively across
organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and
export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
Ability to quickly digest information and distill key actions, with
outstanding communication skills that drive executional impact at

Engineering, you will lead our Google Cloud Storage product. You
will be responsible for establishing and driving the long-term
technical strategy and outlook, engineering, and influencing the
product out for Google Cloud Storage. You will successfully execute
across numerous cloud and Google technologies to solve complex
problems for our customers in Google Cloud as well as inside
Google. Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations

next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud.
Our products are engineered for security, reliability and

of our technology come to life. The US base salary for this
full-time position is $550,000 bonus equity benefits. Individual
pay is determined by work location and additional factors,
including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or

Responsibilities Lead and collaborate with engineering
organizations to build distributed platforms, and address the
myriad of cloud needs for enterprise clients. Set the roadmap and
execution for Google Cloud Storage. Understand technology trends,
customer requirements, and business needs, and deliver on the
priorities. Be responsible for reliability, quality, and customer
satisfaction and efficiency of Google Cloud Storage. Partner with
leadership in product management and the General Manager of Storage
to ensure alignment with business and organization priorities.
Provide oversight of delivery across the sets of capabilities in
Google Cloud Storage.
