Job Description:

are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal
Software Engineer for Android to join our dynamic IT team in
Bentonville, Arkansas. In this role, you will be charged with
leading the development and implementation of Android applications
that enhance our customer experiences across our vast network of
stores and online platforms. You will spearhead innovative
solutions, manage complex projects, and mentor a team of talented
engineers in developing best-in-class mobile applications. Lead the
design, development, and maintenance of Android applications
ensuring strong functionality and optimization Architect scalable,
maintainable, and performant mobile solutions integrated with
Walmart’s retail services Mentor and lead a team of developers;
manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within
scheduled timelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
analyze, design, and ship new features Implement robust security
measures and best practices in mobile application development
Conduct code reviews, and maintain strict code quality standards
Keep up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and
protocols in the mobile space Proven expertise in Android
development, with strong knowledge of Android SDK and its design
patterns Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and
Kotlin Experience with Android frameworks such as Android Jetpack,
and third-party libraries Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect
Android applications to back-end services Strong understanding of
the full mobile development life cycle Excellent problem-solving
skills, leadership, and mentoring abilities Medical Insurance
