Job Description:
Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous mobility
industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Database Engineer to
join their dynamic team. As a Database Engineer, you will be an
integral part of the Data Infrastructure Department supporting the
Data Operations Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong
problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit,
which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title:
Database Engineer Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range: $85/hour
What's the Job? Design and develop efficient and scalable database
solutions based on business requirements. Install, configure, and
upgrade database software and related tools to ensure optimal
performance. Monitor database performance and implement
improvements for efficiency and reliability. Implement and maintain
database security measures to safeguard sensitive data. Collaborate
with application developers to optimize database schema and
queries, troubleshooting issues as they arise. What's Needed?
Strong understanding of AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
related to database resources. Proven experience (5 Years) as a
Database Engineer or Database Administrator. Strong knowledge of
database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server,
or Redshift. Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization
techniques. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and
communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
