Our client, a leading organization in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting the IT and Security teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Network Security Engineer Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range : $83/hour What's the Job? Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of network security systems including firewalls, URL filtering, IDS/IPS, and network access controls. Assist in designing and deploying AWS network security solutions such as Security Groups, NACLs, and Transit Gateway architectures. Manage and support remote access VPNs and ensure secure network connectivity for all users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine security policies and procedures. Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents to protect organizational data and systems. What's Needed? Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting production network security environments. At least 3 years of IT systems, application engineering, or administration experience. Hands-on experience with AWS network security services including AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, and NACLs. Practical knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificates. Strong understanding of the OSI model and Layer-7 protection techniques related to network security. What's in it for me?
