Langtech is seeking an Agile Project Manager (APM) responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile and traditional software development teams. The APM's goals are to achieve a high level of performance and quality and to deliver Agile projects that provide exceptional business value to clients.We are looking specifically for someone with experience as a Project Manager delivering software products, applications or mobile Apps.The APM will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects using Agile methods in a fast-paced environment that will involve coordinating multiple local and offshore resourcesHeadquartered in the heart of San Francisco, our 25 years of systems experience and e-business expertise combined with an intense focus on customer service put us ahead of the crowd as a fully integrated solutions partner in managed services, cloud computing, virtualization, custom software, complex projects, and local, on-site support. Join the Langtech team and share your experience and creativity to help our clients leverage the latest in cloud and mobile technologies.Job DescriptionThe Day-to-DayWhat You'll DoDevelop specifications based on client requirementsDefine project scope with Product Owner and development teamMaintain focus on timeline and timely delivery of valueOrganize and lead project status meetings; prepare and distribute progress reportsManage risks and issues; correcting deviations from plans and performing delivery planning for assigned projectsSupport the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governanceAssist in team development; holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring team members; ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution; encouraging a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the teamQualificationsWho You AreRequired QualificationsWorking knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment2+ years of professional experience working with SCRUM/Agile methodologies on application development projects;4+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager managing complex, high security software product or App projects in a high-tech development environment.Solid understanding of the software development life cycleSufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teamsEvaluate and address complex project risks and issues accurately and objectivelyAbility to build strong relationships and collaborate with customersVery effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team buildingStrong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demandsProven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives and goals are reachedCreative approach to problem solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" viewDemonstrated experience of collaboration using Jira and the Microsoft Office suite of products.Experience working with remote teams (our teams are located in India and South America)BA or BS or equivalent experience is required
