Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Lead to assume a leadership role within our Data Engineering team. Your contributions will be instrumental in developing key applications used by healthcare and life sciences researchers to pioneer new therapies. You'll thrive in our dynamic, highly collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of data.
• Develop and implement best practices for data management, data quality, and data governance.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance data engineering capabilities.
• Oversee the development of ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies. Qualifications
  
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a data engineering role preferably in the healthcare space, with a focus on leading teams.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
