What you'll doAs a Lead Software Engineer on the Provisioning team, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining key features that are integral to our customers and business. You are a hands-on technical expert who will guide and contribute to our development and operations teams to improve the creation of infrastructure solutions that scale with our rapid growth. As a successful lead engineer, you have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude to learn and share. You are responsible not only for writing quality, scalable code but also for guiding the team to make the right decisions. You enjoy working in a fast-paced agile environment, care about the team's decisions, and are focused on quality-driven development.We are seeking an engineer who is experienced in building distributed cloud applications. You will have the opportunity to work on a complex ecosystem in the cloud with a focus on scale and availability. You will be responsible for developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, and building scalable, highly available systems. You will also have experience with public cloud and be curious and able to learn new technologies and toolsets.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Manager, Software Engineering.Responsibility

• Write high quality code in C# .Net and other object-oriented languages that is easy to maintain and test
• Advocate best practices for strategic and architectural direction
• Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, Automated testing, Continuous Integration, Code reviews, Version control systems and Automated build processes
• Lead requirement reviews and raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
• Be an expert at handling complex incidents and alerts that might span multiple teams and domains
• Responsible for proactive risk identification, assessment, planning and mitigation
• Coach the team on development and testing best practices, and provide growth opportunities to junior members of the team
• Articulate clear Software Engineering strategies, plans, goals, and objectives across multiple Engineering domains, projects, and teams, including cross-functional partners Job DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required.   • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years industry experience in Software Engineering
  • Experience with C#, .NET,Java, C++, or Go
  • Experience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns
  • Experience with CosmosDB, SQL, CassandraPreferred
    • Knowledge and experience in building distributed cloud applications
    • Experience with public cloud (Azure or AWS) and Kubernetes
    • Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and toolsets
    • Experience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET), JSON, NoSQL Databases
    • Experience driving strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areas
    • Experience with front-end technologies (React, Typescript, Angular) Wage TransparencyBased on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $165,800 - $265,625 base salaryIllinois and Colorado: $157,900 - $223,075 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $157,900 - $235,275 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and .
